This is my concept for a sheep shearing robot. On the sketch below you see how he is pealing off the sheeps fleece by turning it aroung and some vehicle and function exploration sketches.

| Last year I took Stephen Silvers Character Design for Animation Class at Schoolism (http://www.schoolism.com/). The class was great and I really recommend it, he teaches you a lot about drawing, caricaturing and design also the "tools of the trade" like doing a turnaround. His feedbacks were very helpful to me as was doing draw-overs over my drawings. The class was more worth the money I put in. Of course, you just get out what you put into so I recommend to put work on the assignments. |

| I liked the character I came up with and in summer I took Andrew Hous " Intro into Digital Painting Class" at Schoolism, where I did these paintings. I also recommend highly Andrews Class if you want to get started in digital painting. He takes so much care on the paintovers in his feedbacks, which were in my case about 30 min long. He got me further from that point where I was so I learned a lot. Thank you Andrew and keep up your great work as a teacher! |

| Also asa fantastic way to get started in digital painting is http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ running by Concept Artist Matt Kohr. Matt is fantastic at teaching and he is doing 2 weekly videos. They are about 5 minutes long and so clear and inspiring that you want to start right now. He teaches paintig like he was taught in art school with focus on a later application for concept art and gives fantastic tips on learning to draw and paint. Definetley check it out! |
